From October 2 to 17 2010, the Kowhai Festival will offer a fun-packed programme of recreational and cultural outings throughout northern Rodney, including a raft race, garden rambles and the Huge Day Out.
Funding success!
We have just been granted $5000 from the Auckland Regional Services Trust fund in recognition that the festival is a "project of excellence".
This money will go some way toward covering the total $25,000 to $30,000 cost of running the festival programme. The festival is run entirely by volunteers which means every cent is spent on entertainment, equipment, promotion etc.
